Whether intended for your wedding gown or to wear to the theater, I promise this brooch will become an heirloom possession. It is from my Cafe Society Collection, produced in conjunction with the movie. It reflects old Hollywood jewelry at its zenith.
High Art Deco Style: In the 1920s, women were so impassioned with the new availability of rhinestone jewelry, they often bought dresses to accessorize their rhinestones. Designers of diamond jewelry switched to the new medium of crystal, creating designs in rhinestones that were price prohibitive in diamonds. Dress manufacturers began including a rhinestone pin to their garments, calling them "costume" jewels.
