We created special open settings with enameled 'sunray' motif to showcase these striking artifacts of the past. Background note...Fascination with the Orient in the 1920s and 30s spawned a fashion and decorating craze known as Chinoiserie. Our dynasty-inspired Vintage Jadeite Necklace is typical of the period. Small European and Japanese glass workshops that made elements for jewelry were closed during or just after WWII. These glass elements are from that era.
